Lecture Theatre
Conventional class room lectures form the bedrock on which case studies, assignments, group projects, seminars, debates, elocution, role playing, psycho-analysis help in further development of the student. Field work and guest lectures are applied to give critical practical orientation. The idea behind the whole academic exercise is not to make students exam oriented but business inclined.

Training Restaurants with Bar
Two Training Restaurants and Bars, equipped to cater to national and international tastes, provide latest techniques of service at par with the industry. Training of buffets, banquets, gueridon service, etc. are also provided in these labs.

Advance Training Kitchens
Basic Training Kitchen : Basic kitchen is fully equipped with modern catering equipments and appliances. This kitchen is used primarily to introduce the art of cookery to the students and it is the launching pad for the new comers. Familiarity with the art and science of cooking is indeed an essential part of good hospitality operation.

 Advance Training Kitchen : Having mastered the basics, the students move on to specialization in the art of cooking. This kitchen which boasts of state-of-the-art equipment and hotel kitchen simulation. Elaborate dishes are prepared here. The cuisines under consideration are Continental, Indian & Chinese. |
Quantity Food Training Kitchen : This kitchen is primarily used to impart training to students on Indian and Continental Cuisine and for preparing food in bulk for banquets and parties.

Bakery & Confectionery
Two huge labs take care of all Baking and Confectionary requirements of the syllabus. Students produce the most exquisite breads, cakes, chocolates, pastries & desserts here.

Front Office Lab
The front office lab with well decorated lobby, reception area and lounge, is the first point of contact with guest. In this lab the students are trained for receiving information, billing, guest registration and guest relation. In addition, emphasis is on communication skills, social skills, oratory skills and handling of different type of situations.

Accommodation Operation / House Keeping Lab
House Keeping Lab : The Housekeeping lab is equipped with the most modern equipments and guest supplies, chemicals, abrasives, linen etc. required for accommodation upkeep and other related jobs. |

Laundry & Linen Room : The laundry in housekeeping is equipped with Stefab Commercial Washer (15 Kg.), Stefab Commercial Extractor (15 Kg.), Steam Press table with boiler etc. where students learn Laundry Management.

Computer Application Lab
The institute has a well equipped computer labs at different campuses, where students are taught the use of latest information technologies in day-to-day management. “One student one computer” is the norm. The lab is on multi-user environment, LAN, working on Windows. The students are extensively exposed to the use of standard software packages and their utilization in management problem solving.

Library & Resource Centre
Students of IHM Meerut have access to large number of books, resource materials and magazines. The institute maintains a library of books, periodicals and journals (both Indian & International). Various audio visual aids are used for educational programmes as well as made available to industry members at different campuses.

The audio visual lab is designed with modern outlook. It is equipped with state of the art audio, visual and internet capabilities. The students use the lab to attend online guest lectures, webinars held by the industry experts from around the globe. With the use of multimedia the goal is to provide comprehensive education to prepare students for their future. |
